Early Childhood Weekday Ministries

At Epworth Weekday Children’s Ministries it is our mission to create a safe Christian environment to nurture and support children and families by providing high quality affordable early childhood programs.

Since 1966, Epworth’s Weekday Children’s Ministries has served children and families in the Castleton area. Our part-time program is open Monday-Friday, 9:00-2:00, serving children 9 months to age five. We believe children learn best through play and opportunities to explore, question, investigate, and manipulate objects and materials. As a NAEYC accredited program, we have voluntarily undergone a comprehensive process of internal self-study and improvement to meet all 10 of the NAEYC Early Childhood Program Standards. Learn more about NAEYC accreditation and the 10 standards.  As a United Methodist preschool, our program is firmly based on the love of God who created each person as a unique individual to be celebrated and loved. We care for children as gifts from God offering unconditional love to stimulate a feeling of belonging, awe, and wonder. We believe this undergirding of love encourages creativity and an understanding of his or her own self-control and welfare of others.
