Through the love of Jesus, we want to be a church that embraces the diversity of our neighborhood and loves and supports one another, while providing a variety of spiritually enriching opportunities for all ages.
Epworth United Methodist Church was founded more than 55 years ago and is proud to be a part of the history of northeast Indianapolis. We have strong roots in our community and we actively support Indianapolis through service projects, monetary support, and prayer. Our mission projects extend beyond the state across the globe. We offer several worship services with varying worship styles, all aimed at teaching the Bible and developing your personal relationship with God.
Small groups are one of Epworth's core strengths—we have groups for people of all backgrounds, interests, and ages (with lots of activities for children and youth) and we welcome you to join any group that appeals to you. You may even come here to start a new group!
If you are hurting and seeking a place of refuge, our doors and arms are open to you. Trained Stephen Ministers are available to persons in the congregation who are in need of support during difficult times in their lives (grief, illness, change), to listen, be a friend and a prayer support. For more information about being a Stephen Minister or receiving care, contact Diaconal Minister, Pat Engel at firstname.lastname@example.org or (317) 251-1481.
We welcome and encourage you to contact us with your questions and to visit us. Explore our site (and find us on Facebook!) to learn about the many ways you can get involved in your community and explore your faith at Epworth.
