Epworth has a variety of music groups that welcome new members to join in at any time! There's a chair waiting for you!
 

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir is a group of men and women who sing during the 8:45 worship service from September through May, with rehearsals once a week on Wednesday evenings.

Rehearsals on Wednesdays from 7:30-9:00pm

Praise Team & Junior Praise Team

Our 11:00 contemporary service is led by the Praise Team each week. This ensemble includes electric & acoustic guitars, a bass guitar, drums, vocals, piano, and much more. The Junior Praise Team welcomes middle school students and older. It rehearses with the Praise Team and joins in leading worship on a montly basis. New! Liturgical Dance
This is a new ensemble in 2012! Interested youth translate praise team songs into movement. Get moving in the 11:00 worship service.
 

Handbells/Chimes

No singing talent required for this group! Men, women, and youth with a basic ability to read music are welcome to join the Handbell/Chime choir. This group typically performs during worship services once a month from September through May, with two evening rehearsals each month.

Men's Chorus

This group is ideal for men who enjoy singing in the choir but aren't able to attend weekly rehearsals. The Men's Chorus rehearses once a month and sings in worship services once a month.

Rehearsals on the second Wednesday of the month from 6:30-7:25pm
Sunday warm-ups from 8:00-8:15am
 

Women's Chorus

This group is ideal for women who enjoy singing in the choir but aren't able to attend weekly rehearsals. The Women's Chorus rehearses once a month and sings in worship services once a month.

Orchestra, Jr. Orchestra, & Small Instrumental Groups

All instrumentalists are welcome to join our church orchestra. The full orchestra rehearses twice a month and performs throughout the year, accompanying ensembles and congregational singing. The Jr. Orchestra performs occasionally throughout the year as well. Small instrumental ensembles are also available and open to newcomers.
