“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Matthew 22:36-40 NIV
As followers of Christ, we are to be loving –
Loving God, Loving Others, and Loving Self.
All that we do as a church is designed to be a channel of God’s love for others and an expression of our love for God. So, each we week we gather as a community of faith for worship as a public expression of our love for God and as an encouragement to live our faith in community.
Worship Sunday Morning starts at 9:30 AM
We also understand that people have a number of reasons for not attending church, but lack of faith isn’t usually one of them. Perhaps that’s you. You want a relationship with God but doubt that “organized religion” or a local church can provide that spiritual connection. A lot of people who never thought they’d go to church have discovered a fresh, authentic and relevant spiritual experience at Epworth. Come and be our guest. We just might surprise you!
Come early and enjoy the Coffee Bar.
On Sunday mornings from 8:45 to 11:45 am we serve Free Trade Coffee and Tea and there is always an assortment of donuts and pastries while they last! This is a great place to meet friends — old and new.
